I did not have high expectations after reading reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was nice but I was a little surprised at how empty the restaurant was at 8:00 pm on a Saturday night. I would recommend purchasing the Groupon if possible. For my family of 5 I purchased the $32 groupon that cost $18. In the end I paid $3.22 additional out of pocket. The average price of a pita is around $7.00. I think this is a healthy alternative to subway. Would probably eat here when I am trying to eat healthy.

Pita Pit is just a fancy updated version of Subway. The concept is great, and the execution is above average, but not great! Unlike Subway, there is only one size (large) sandwich; but like Subway there are a ton of fresh toppings albeit a little more exotic (2 types of hummus, roasted red peppers, tzatziki sauce, ...etc). In my opinion their menu is too large, which leads to higher overhead and prices. Service was fine, as they were slow since it was 2:30; and the girl was very polite and explained how the menu worked. Overall, Pita Pit is a good alternative to eating at Subway, which by the way is right next door. What I do like about them is that they offer a Military discount (10%) on the whole purchase. We got one combo and one pita by itself for $16 and change. So it's a better deal and lower in calories if you don't mind sharing the drink and chips (2 serving size).

Gross! The chicken souvlaki is not a chicken souvlaki. It's little pieces of processed rubbery chicken that has been marinated. A chicken souvlaki is chicken on a skewer. My husband and I did not get through half the sandwich because it was so nasty. There was no good flavor in the whole sandwich. Even the lettuce which is supposed to be fresh was rubbery. Overpriced for what you get. Staff was friendly but then was shouting across the place about their summer plans.

I don't think I can possibly express how let down I was worth my experience here. I've stopped at many Mediterranean style shops like this and have never once been this let down. The sauces were not what you would ever find somewhere that didn't serve frozen falafels like this place did. Very disappointed and will not ever return.

The pita bread they use is thin and tasteless, but you can customize your pita any way you like it! I would avoid calling an order in because the selection of toppings don't seem fresh. I has to reassure myself that just because the top of the guacamole and hummus look brown and crusty, it doesn't mean that the vegetable toppings have spoiled too. The staff is cheerful. Since it's never been busy when I've ordered, I've always received quick service. In a location thriving with diverse eateries, this place will not be in business long!

Pita Pit is pretty good actually. I had the chicken souvlaki pita, which was tasty, and the staff was friendly. Think of Pita Pit like a subway - you tell them what meat you want, they warm it up for you. Instead of a microwave, they use a grill for this. Instead of sticking it on a sandwich, they stick it in a pita. That's about iit. From then on, it's a topping bar. I thought they were a little stingy with the hummus, I'd get double hummus next time. You definitely got more volume of meat with chicken than with the 'prime rib'. It's a solid choice, and I'd rather go here than subway. It's just a whee bit more like food than the stuff at you get at Subway - but it's similar cost. A footlong with chips and a drink will cost me $9 at subway, I'm not surprised to pay similar here, especially since I feel it's of slightly higher quality. Plates would be nice though. Seriously. If I say my order is for here, I don't want you ripping the paper off, what if I can't finish it? They'd be better off just not asking.

I give this place like 4.33 stars. The pita was great and you could put whatever veggies and toppings that you want in it. I like how they had my online order ready unlike the Chipotle, also located in this Festival that has gotten my online orders wrong each time. I also used a Groupon, which made this an even better deal. I would recommend with or without the Groupon. I just hope that this place is able to stay in business since there was not even 1 customer, although I went around 4:30. This is conveniently located, no lines out the door and I recommend this place to catch your wrap, burrito craving! Can't wait to go again myself.

Ate here when they first opened. Got a kids meal for my son and the arrogant guy ( manager) had the nerve to say I hope this is for a child.... like really? I wasnt even done ordering. Food was bland even the caesar. I havent been back since He def needed a course in customer service. And its expensive

This place a expensive for what you get. $9.31 for a pita, chips and drink. We ate there and they don't have trays, plates or silverware, so it's a little messy. The girl making our food had gloves on but was touching her hair, itching her nose and never changed her gloves. My friends pita barely had any meat in it. It would have been less expensive and more filling to go to Subway or Chipotle which is in the same parking lot. I did like that they told you how many calories are in each pita. Most likely we won't be back.

We get Pita Pit quite a bit and are always happy. They have a limited delivery area and my shop is in that area, which is great on a busy day when we wouldn't be able to run out. You can order as is or spruce it up your way. We go a few times a month at work, it's that good!

The first time we visited it took 20 minutes to get our pita after it was made. We thought we would try it again. This time it still took around 20 minites. I ordered buffalo chicken which looked like BBQ instead. I asked the guy if he was sure this was buffalo chicken and he said yes. After we got home, I tasted the pita and confirmed that it was in fact BBQ chicken. We won't be returning to pita pit. It was great that they had someone there making balloons for kids, but that doesn't make up for the poor service.

A little pricy but they have higher quality ingredients than you ever find at subway. My wife and I absolutely love the chicken souvlaki. It is amazing.
